Film soundtrack composition project

10 students from Old Park Primary school worked with professional composer Peter Bell to create the soundtrack for Newdale Primary School‘s film about Telford for the Telford 50 celebrations. The children used their instruments as well as exploring electronics and manipulating sound to compose the soundtrack.

Over the summer, In Harmony Telford Nucleo Orchestra had the amazing opportunity to perform alongside professional MegaFolk band The Destroyers in the Big Top in Telford Town Park as part of the Telford 50 celebrations. Intergenerational performance with Telford Community Orchestra

At 7pm on Thursday 17th May our In Harmony Youth Ensemble will perform in a concert with Telford Community Orchestra, a small orchestra made up of adults from around the local area. The concert will be held at Dawley Town Hall and will be recorded live by music technology students from Telford College. Entry to the concert is free and doesn’t need to be booked in advance. There will be an interval with refreshments, and donations can be given to help the work of In Harmony Telford and Stoke.

On Wednesday 30 November 2016, our Nucleo Orchestra were invited by Shrewsbury Symphony Orchestra to perform before their main concert. Young musicians and families all travelled to Shrewsbury School and performed fantastically to an enthusiastic audience! New developments with In Harmony in Stoke-on-Trent

City Music Service are delighted to announce that Thistley Hough Academy was successful in their application to work in partnership with City Music Service to deliver the In Harmony programme in Stoke-on-Trent. The project will be the first of its kind in the country as it will be the first project within the In Harmony programme to be delivered in a secondary school.
