Welcome to In Harmony – Telford & Stoke, a social development programme delivered through music making in the communities of Malinslee, Telford and Thistley Hough, Stoke since 2012. Our In Harmony project works directly with over 900 young people and their families to put music at the heart of local communities.
In Harmony Telford & Stoke is a partnership between the Entrust Music, Telford & Wrekin Music and City Music Service in Stoke, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Manchester Camerata, Thistley Hough Academy and Old Park Primary School.
Young musicians on the programme work with a wide range of professional musicians and educators to explore their potential through music. Through the various musical activities, In Harmony engages the local community and inspires the next generation through creative learning.
Our digital learning strand aims to enable children from both schools to share their feelings and develop learning partnerships bridging the geographical distance between our schools.
